NEW INSTALLATION NOW COMPLETE!
Alfold Village Hall Surrey have now had a new audio visual system installed from EES.
They can now boast about their new Projector and 3mtr Screen, Audio System, Hearing Loop (for the hard of hearing) and new stage lighting (all LED).
The installation was installed at the end of March and took just over 2 days to complete.
With the demands of the community increasing for Village halls and the need to increase income into halls, an audio visual syatem is a positive answer! Now ALFOLD can provide the facility for the use of local community meetings, film shows, business seminars and many more applications.
The quotations and the Consultations were completely FREE and the overall costs discussed to arrive at a affordable system which is top class in new technology. Funding was arranged and most halls can achieve these results by way of their local funding sources.
Special thanks to Bob and Adrian at Alfold for their committment and help during the installation!

KAM XY SERIES LASERS

KAM XY SERIES LASERS NOW IN STOCK!
Kam XY DMX Laser - RBP
A classic LED scanner uses a mirror to reproduce an image of a gobo, this is then panned and tilted through 90° and 120° projecting shapes on to floors, ceilings and walls. The Kam XY Laser is the first laser to cross the boundary into traditional lighting, whilst safely providing laser image scanning across a wide area. The Kam XY Laser reproduces this effect in a compact, easy-to-use and affordable laser unit.
The unique programming and scanning design of Kam XY Laser ensures that this product will not produce a “hotspot” single point laser image. The on-board MSP (Motor Stop Protection) safety cut-out continuously monitors the mirror drivers and is programmed to never allow a persistent laser spot. The MSP device will shut down the laser beam output should any part of the system fail. This circuit, unique to Kam, will change the way laser technology can be used and make future laser shows far more dynamic.
Each Kam XY Laser has built-in software that will control other XY Lasers. Set the first laser as a Master and all others as Slaves and they’ll follow and snake around the venue in sync. The result is an impressive multi-colour, 32 patterned laser light show that will reach every part of the venue.
The combination of laser power and image quality is such that audience scanning can be carried out if the guidelines set out in the KAM XY laser manual are strictly adhered too. If the user elects to perform audience scanning, the protection mechanism (MSP) of the XY laser ensures that under foreseeable failure conditions within the XY Laser, the audience is not exposed to hazardous conditions.

Using your Village hall for Council meetings

Using your Village hall for Council Meetings..
Many village halls have the room and the capacity to hold meetings, the rooms are usually large enough, the seating is generally available and as a hub for the local community they are a natural choice for meetings and seminas.
Making the most of your village hall is all too important, striving to increase the income and generating cash flow to benefit the community as a whole.
There are of course many ways to acheive this, however more and more villages are benefitting from using their halls for community meetings. Several halls that we have been involved with have developed their technology within the hall to enable local councils to hold meetings by installing a few simple items to make this possible. For instance, the projector system with screen is one whereby seminas can be held. Local business people can plug in a laptop and display 'powerpoint' programs through the system. Sales meetings and company development seminas can now be held at generally lower cost than the nearest hotel, which can be expensive to hire.
Conference facilities offer a new string to your bow! By installing a multiple microphone system you can hold a public or closed meetings in your hall.
This consists of a set of up to 12 microphones, one of which is the 'Chairmans' microphone, which overrides the others by simply pushing his 'on' button. All of these microphones link by ONE cable and return to a sound source or amplifier, (usually your normal public address system). The system is completely portable and all items pack away when not in use.
Prices depend on the number of microphones used, but every system is expandable, so you can start with a basic few microphones and build your system over a period of time should you wish to.
